‘The population of the world is unevenly distributed’. Explain with two examples.

World population distribution is highly uneven on the earth. Some areas have a high population density while others have a low population density. About 90 per cent of the world population live in 10 per cent area of the world. Areas of high population density tend to be located between 20° and 60°N, as this area contains land area and relatively temperate climate. For example, the 10 most populous countries of the world contribute about 60 per cent of the world’s population. Of these 10 countries, 6 are located in Asia.
