Fa Xian and Xuan Zang were Buddhist pilgrims who came to India to study the Buddhist culture and other traditions of India. They took several Buddhist texts to their country and several of those texts were translated by the scholars. Their texts were carried by several other scholars which led to the spread of the Buddhist ideology.
