What were Mr. Gessler’s views about big firms?

Mr. Gessler was full of resentment against big firms. The big firms depended on advertisement. They didn’t bother about the quality of their products. They produced shoes in bulk. They sold them quickly by getting them advertised. They sold ready-made shoes of all colours, shape and qualities. The quality of work did not seem to matter to the customers. As a result, they snatched the job of the poor shoemakers. Mr. Gessler pitied him lot since he had almost lost his all customers. As a result, he was reduced to poverty and compelled to starve? It was all due to the wrong ways of the big firms. They had robbed him of his health and the source of his livelihood.
