The life of a human is useless without a goal. But if success comes to a human without any effort that is also counted as worthless. We must take the instance of our respected Prime Minister of India, Mr. Narendra Modi. He keeps on saying to the world that he was a small tea vendor. Once upon a time, he never had any financial or political support but today, he is sitting on the highest chair among 1.25 crore Indians. Why? Because he had certain dreams, which converted into passion and goals with time immemorable.
Mr. Modi tried to achieve his goal all on his own without any source, recommendation or any God-father behind. It was just his goal of becoming a Prime Minister of India. With his utter hard work, he went on stepping on success one after another. First, he became Chief Minister of Gujarat four times, later he tried for Prime Minister’s post, which also he got. Now he is working so hard for our nation. He is leading the nation, with his BJP party. He is a role model not only for India but has become a role model of the world. Mr. Modi is a true example for the whole of India.
Now I will come to my personal goals. When I was in Primary classes, I was very hard-working and a studious type of child. But I was somehow lacking in English subjects. My English was not very strong. I could hardly gather few passing marks on the borderline just to clear out my class.
One day my English teacher took me aside and did little counselling by asking why I was lacking only in English subjects? I replied I had nobody to teach me English at home, in school or neighbourhood. Also I could not afford tuition in English subject. She said, “I don’t know how you are going to do it, but you have to set a goal of scoring highest marks in English next year, because I am going to be your class teacher again in the next class. I was very nervous and under trauma for sometime. First I decided to quit the school forever and go to another one. But that was just timely solution, not a permanent one. Then I gave myself a big challenge of scoring above 80% marks in English. That was my biggest goal. So, I started reading books, novels, newspapers, watching news in English which certainly helped me. Day by day my English kept on improving. In my final exams I got 82 marks in English. This also helped me in improving my class rank and percentage. Today I am so happy because I have not only topped in my class, but I have won many inter-school debatic competitions. Have also earned many trophies, medals and certificates for myself.
