The Parsis had complained to the Bombay Gymkhana Club that their park was left unfit for cricket because the ponies had dug up the surface, and it was not patched up. Instead the Parsis got the privilege to built their own gymkhana to play cricket. The rivalry between the Paris and the Bombay Gymkhana had a happy ending for these pioneers of Indian Cricket.
