How Did the King and the Hermit Help the Wounded Man?

The king and the hermit dressed the bleeding wound, but the bleeding did not stop. The king redressed it, till the wounded man was relieved and the bleeding was stopped. Afterwards the king gave him fresh water to drink, and laid him on the bed.
